    We order the test for you at a low cost of $100. We will then send you a saliva kit to collect your genetic sample. You will also have access to our genetic counseling services.

How much do these tests costs?

At DNA Insider, we are focused on making access to genetic testing easy for the patient. Our services to order genetic testing and deliver your results are offered at a flat rate of $100.

When we process your genetic testing with the specific lab, there will be additional lab charges for that test. These lab charges are typically about $100-$500 and in some cases slightly more.

DNA Insider does not assist with billing and insurance.

Can I schedule an appointment with a genetic counselor?

Yes, add the results disclosure (30 min) to your cart to speak to a genetic counselor about your results

Will my insurance cover genetic testing?

Yes, most commercial insurance companies like CIGNA, United Health, Kaiser Permanente and others cover the cost of genetic testing. Please note we do not work with insurers or billing directly.

Our genetic expert fees of $100 are not covered by insurance.

What if I don't see the genetic testing kit that I am interested in?

DNA Insider is actively adding new genetic testing kits to the portfolio. Please submit your kit request in the Contact Us page.

How long will it take for my genetic testing results to come back?

On average, it takes about 2-3 weeks for the test results to come back.

How is genetic testing performed?

After you select the genetic test that is best for you, our genetic counseling experts will order the test and a saliva sample genetic testing kit will be mailed to your home. After you mail the kit out to the respective lab, DNA Insider will contact you with your results.

You can then choose to meet with us to discuss the results or take the results to your respective healthcare provider team
